Talking therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/Tapping) techniques can help us to understand how events and people in our lives can shape our behaviour and how we see the world and other people.
Counselling
Counselling is a form of Talking Therapy which involves talking to a trained therapist about thoughts, feelings and behaviors that may be causing problems or distress.
I offer one to one counselling appointments either online or in person in my office. Each session lasts 50 – 60 mins and some clients find that a couple of sessions are all they need whilst others benefit from a course of appointments and check in every few weeks, it all depends on the individual and what feels most helpful.
I know that starting counselling can feel really daunting especially if you’ve never tried it before, so it’s my job to support you through the process and help you get the most out of your sessions.
Before committing to anything I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation, with no obligation to book an appointment. This gives us the opportunity to chat about what’s going on for you at the moment and discuss how talking therapy could help.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) which is often known as tapping is a blend of Western psychology and Eastern acupressure techniques.
Tapping specific points (or meridians) on the body sends signals to the part of our brain that helps control stress and pain.
It helps to clear emotional blocks, relieve anxiety and pain and restore balance.
EFT has been shown to be an effective way of to managing anxiety, stress and overwhelm and can be particularly helpful when working with trauma, fears and phobias and letting go of the past.
You can book an EFT session if you want to focus on a specific issue or emotion that feels overwhelming or intrusive.

LIFE COACHING
Life Coaching helps with managing change, setting goals, planning and prioritising, and decision making. It involves a personal wellbeing assessment, setting achievable outcomes and goals, identifying self-limiting beliefs and barriers to change and formulating a set of strategies to maintain personal development and sustainable change.
Life Coaching is available as a package of four one hour coaching sessions over four months and monthly check in appointments allow clients to practice new strategies and review progress regularly. It includes a personal Wellbeing Assessment, setting outcomes and goals, identifying blocks to change, implementing self-care strategies and maintaining sustainable change.
Life Coaching packages are offered at a special reduced rate of £200 for four coaching sessions over four months (£50 per session*)
